Business Recovery Capital Program, ASDOC releases awards

To rebuild the local economy since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Business Recovery Capital Program (BRCP), funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and administered by the American Samoa Department of Commerce (ASDOC), launched the following programs:

  1. ARPA BRCP Revolving Line of Credit (RLOC)

  2. ARPA BRCP Grant Program

As of July 30, 2022, the ARPA BRCP RLOC Program granted 16 local businesses a revolving line of credit. In addition, the ARPA BRCP Grant Program has awarded 49 local companies with federal funds.

The objective of the BRCP is to support the recovery and expansionary efforts of the local businesses affected by the COVID restrictions. Listed below are the local businesses and their awarded amount.

Under ARPA Oversight Office, ASDOC must make all awards publicly available. For more information about BRCP programs, please email brcp@doc.as.gov or visit us online at www.doc.as.gov/cslfrf.
