Extension of Deadline: BEAD Pre-Qualification Application

Dear BEAD Stakeholders,

The American Samoa Broadband Coordination Office (BCORD), under the Department of Commerce, would like to inform the public that the deadline for the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program Pre-Qualification Application has been officially extended 30 days until June 30, 2025.

This extension will allow interested deployment applicants additional time to complete necessary steps in the pre-qualification process, including the finalization of required documentation.

BCORD remains committed to ensuring American Samoa is well-positioned to meet the requirements of the BEAD Program and to secure critical broadband infrastructure funding to expand access across the Territory.

April 30, 2025 BEAD Pre-Application Opens (30 day Extension*)

June 30, 2025 BEAD Pre-Application Closes

July 1, 2025 BEAD Pre-Application Review Period Opens

July 14, 2025 BEAD Pre-Application Review Period Closes

July 15, 2025 BEAD Application Opens

August 29, 2025 BEAD Application Closes

Sep. 1, 2025 BEAD Application Review Opens

Dec. 1, 2025 BEAD Application Review Close
